About S.S Blister Pack
A workshop built around
one kind of part
We manufacture change parts for blister packing machines. That focus is deliberate — it is what lets us read a worn tool, understand where a format is failing and machine a replacement that fits the first time.
01 Company Overview
Change parts, made to the machine on your floor
S.S Blister Pack operates from Rabale in the MIDC TTC Industrial Area, Navi Mumbai, within reach of the pharmaceutical and packaging manufacturing base across Maharashtra. We supply forming plates, sealing plates, cutting stations, punch and die sets, and the feeding and indexing components that move product through a blister line.
Most of what we make is one of a kind. A format changes, a machine is repurposed, a tool wears past correction, or a part is no longer available from the original supplier. In each case the requirement is the same: a part that matches the machine exactly and behaves the way the old one did when it was new.
That work depends on getting the input right. We would rather spend an extra day confirming a pocket pitch, a knurl pattern or a heater layout than deliver a part that needs correction after it reaches your line.
02 Our Approach
Fit first,
finish second,
speed third
A change part that arrives quickly but sits a fraction out of position costs more than one that took a week longer. Blister tooling works as a system: the forming plate sets the pocket, the sealing plate has to meet it evenly across the web, and the cutting station has to register to both. Get one element wrong and the whole format has to be re-trialled.
So we work in that order. Dimensions and fit are settled before anything is cut. Material and treatment are chosen for the duty the surface actually sees, not simply the hardest option available. Finishing is done on the faces that matter, to the condition the process needs. Delivery is then quoted against what the job genuinely takes.
The same thinking applies to repairs. A worn sealing plate can often be re-knurled or re-ground rather than replaced, and a punch and die set can be brought back into clearance. Where that is the sensible route, we will say so.

04 Our Process
How an order moves through the shop
Five stages, from your first enquiry to a part running on your line.
-
Stage 01
Enquiry and study
You send the drawing, 3D model, sample part or blister specimen along with the machine details. We study the format, the mounting arrangement and the duty the part has to take.
-
Stage 02
Drawing and confirmation
Where no usable drawing exists, we measure and prepare one. Material, treatment, critical dimensions and delivery are confirmed with you in writing before machining starts.
-
Stage 03
Machining
Material is cut, machined and, where the part calls for it, sent for heat treatment before finish grinding. Forming, sealing and cutting faces are worked last so the finished geometry holds.
-
Stage 04
Finishing and inspection
Working faces are finished to the required surface condition, knurl and pocket detail is checked against the drawing, and matched sets are marked so they stay paired on your shop floor.
-
Stage 05
Dispatch and support
Parts are labelled, packed and dispatched with the paperwork you need. If something needs adjustment during trials on your line, we work with you until it runs.
